WORK EXPERIENCE
Elementary Administrator
Conewago Valley School District, New Oxford PA
July 2020 - Present
In July 2020, I accepted the position of Assistant Principal at Conewago Valley Intermediate School (grades 4-6). We were tasked with reopening schools amid a pandemic and this year prepared me for the ever-changing landscape of education and my next journey in administration. In July 2021, I became the Principal of Conewago Township Elementary School (grades K-3). In this role, I supervise approximately 90 faculty and staff and oversee all daily operations of our school. In the 2021 and 2022 school years, we have had a great focus to literacy and trying to ensure all of our students have the fundeimental reading skills necessary to be literate and empowered readers!
Media Specialist & Learning Coach
New Oxford High School, New Oxford PA
August 2018 - June 2020
I was tasked with the redesign of the New Oxford High School Media Center, called The Crossroads. There are seven learning zones available to students and staff. As a Media Specialist, I have the privilege of working with 1,200 students in many different capacities, through programs like Book Talk Tuesday, Calligraphy classes, Drone and Coding lessons, Video Game Tournaments, and more! As a learning coach, I help to support and develop approximately 90 staff members by leading and organizing professional development. I also provide coaching to high school teachers and new teachers in grades K-6. In these positions, I am in charge of ordering and budgeting for 9-12 Media Center.
